FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction and construction materials, specifically to a method of producing modified bitumen binder, which consists in preliminary heating of bitumen to viscous state and subsequent introduction into bitumen, while continuously stirring, a modifier, wherein modifier is 3.0–10.0 wt% of bitumen is obtained by combining bitumen heated to temperature of 140–160 °C, and structure-forming agent, in form of textile corduroy lint, with rubber crumbs, activated rubber solution in hydrocarbon oil, with following ratio of components, wt%: textile corduroy lint – 7.0–20.0; bitumen – 5.0–30.0; activated rubber crumbs – balance.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of the process of preparing modified bitumen binder, high universality of modified bitumen binder to various types of mineral fillers, as well as in improvement of quality of asphalt-concrete coatings and elasticity of insulating and roofing materials.
