SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction materials, specifically to modifying compositions for asphalt-concrete mixtures when coating road surfaces, bridges and overpasses. Modifying composition for asphalt-concrete mixtures includes bitumen, rubber crumbs from milled waste automotive tires and hydrocarbon oil, and additionally contains saturated low-molecular carbon-chain rubber, unsaturated high-molecular carbon-chain rubber and textile cord fluff in certain quantitative ratio of components, wherein hydrocarbon oil is an industrial oil with an ignition temperature of not lower than 220 °C, and the rubber crumb has a size of not more than 1.5 mm and a specific geometrical surface value of not less than 7,000 cm²/g, wherein textile cord lint contains randomly assembled into loose crumple structures loose pieces of textile cord monofilaments with length of not more than 10.0 mm and diameter of not more than 0.1 mm, wherein pieces of textile cord monofilaments have random spatial zigzag shape.

EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in improvement of efficiency of process of preparing modifying composition, in its acceleration, in improvement of quality of asphalt-concrete coating, as well as in improvement of universality of modifying composition to types of bitumen and mineral fillers of asphalt-concrete mixtures.
