FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to direct conversion of thermal energy to electrical energy, specifically to a thermoelectric generator (TEG) construction comprising a heat source with a heat receiver, thermoelectric module and base of air radiator equipped with cooling ribs are serially thermally fixed on working surface of the latter. Distinctive feature of generator of proposed design is that radiator is made in form of set installed in one horizontal plane and in parallel to each other in series alternating plates of different height, interconnected by lateral sides so that low plates form base of radiator, and high - simultaneously radiator base and its cooling ribs, wherein thickness of low plates is equal to air gap between ribs, and their height is directly proportional to heat flow removed through radiator and inversely proportional to their heat conductivity. Fixed connection of all low and high plates to each other is made by means of tightening pins, arranged in parallel through holes in plates, wherein holes for studs are perpendicular to planes of lateral sides of plates contacting each other with copper, nickel, silver and base alloys, which improves quality of fixed connection of all plates by soldering or diffusion welding.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced labor intensity of manufacturing and increased efficiency of TEG.
