FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used as autonomous power supplies. Disclosed is a thermal power generator, which contains a battery of thermal-energy modules, the hot electrodes of which are connected to a source of thermal energy, and cold electrodes - to a water container, which has a liquid heat sink with a pipe water conduit, in one embodiment, the heat sink is made in a body of a direct thermosyphon, isolated from the water container by a heat-insulated circuit, and in the upper part of the thermosyphon housing there are metal grilles, connected by heat-conducting rods with external additional heat sink. Heat pipes can be used as heat conducting rods. In another embodiment, the heat sink is made in the bodies of the cyclic thermosiphon, consisting of evaporative and condenser units, connected by a pipe conduit and a steam pipeline, pipe conduit is connected to the lower inner surfaces of both units, and a steam pipeline is connected between the upper evaporation zone of the evaporator unit and the upper condensation zone in the condenser unit. Steam pipeline in the condenser unit can be equipped with an additional heat exchanger.
EFFECT: technical result is a simplified thermal power generator design and increased efficiency of the thermosyphon by improving condensation of the steam in it.
