FIELD: decorative art.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of enamel coating with provision of drawing and can be used for making jewelery and souvenir products. Method involves preparing a metal base, applying a counter-enamel, applying enamel soil and painting. Product made of gold or silver, having a concave surface and shoulders is used, art painting is applied on a burnt layer of enamel soil without using a stencil or a pre-transferred drawing contour. After burning on the painted surface, a transparent flux layer is applied, having an expansion coefficient equal to or approximating to the expansion coefficient of the metal from which the decorated article is made, and burned until complete melting and formation of a uniform transparent surface. Art list repeating the applied pattern is applied on the cooled layer of the transparent flux, after which the final decorated item is fired.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the process of applying a decorative enamel coating with the effect of stereoscopy while improving safety of the user, and also aims at enlarging enamelling methods and improving consumer properties of articles with a decorative enamel coating.
