FIELD: chemistry; decorative art.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of enamel coating with pattern and can be used for making jewellery and souvenir products. Method involves preparing a metal base, applying a counter-enamel, applying enamel soil, fixing patches made from enamel pieces and painting. Base is made of gold or silver, enamel soil is applied in two layers, each of which is fired in muffle furnace until complete melting. On the surface of the enamel soil, at least one pad of enamel of contrasting colour is fixed in the form of a fragment of enamel of irregular shape. Thereafter, article with at least one enamel pad is fired to enamel upper layer of enamel soil and said enamel lining and mixing thereof to form a pattern, and after firing, art painting is applied onto the enamel primer, wherein the degree of fusion of the lining from the enamel and the pattern formed around it is taken into account, and the article is subjected to final annealing in a muffle furnace.

EFFECT: invention simplifies the process of applying a decorative enamel coating on the article surface with an art painting and a volumetric element while improving the safety of the user by performing a process without contact of the user with an open gas flame.
