FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for purification of natural waters. Method of cleaning groundwater for agricultural use includes treatment of water with an oxidant, filtration through loading, disinfection of water with ultraviolet radiation and supply to consumer. Oxidising agent used is oxygen. Filtration is carried out in a pressure filter at a rate of up to 5 m/h, filled with a filtration-sorption charge with a height of up to 0.8 m, which is a mixture of quartz sand of 0.8–2 mm fraction and activated carbon on coal-bearing base fraction 1.5–2.8 mm in ratio of components 3:1.
EFFECT: invention reduces turbidity to 96 %, iron content total to 99 %, manganese to 96 %, hardness salts to 95 %, as well as to reduce the number of process operations and improve environmental friendliness of the disclosed method.
