FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an improved method for selective removal of gases from gas mixtures containing said gases by using washing solutions, which operates with a chemical-physical cycle of absorption and regeneration, as well as to an apparatus for realizing said method. Hybrid method of selective absorption of gases from gaseous mixtures containing them comprises the following steps. Performing primary absorption of gases to be removed during physical absorption. As a result, up to 30 % of removed gases is absorbed due to physical solubility in absorbing solution, then regenerated by means of instant boiling. Further, final absorption of remaining gases is carried out using a chemical absorption process. As a result, remaining gases to be removed are chemically absorbed by absorbing solution. Heat supplied for regeneration of the chemical absorbing solution and contained in a large amount in the gas mixture obtained at the regeneration step is restored and reused, obtaining a double effect, to improve and/or complete the regeneration of the solution used for physical absorption of the removed gases, by instant boiling.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced dependence of regeneration of absorbing solution on supply of external heat and/or steam.
