FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of forming optical surfaces with complex geometry by copying the surface of precision master matrices in thin polymer layers on spherical substrates from optical materials. Method comprises applying an adhesive coating on a working surface of a spherical substrate, applying a polymer composition based on unsaturated polyester resins on the adhesive coating, pressing to the polymer composition of the master matrix with a separating layer deposited on its working surface, curing of the polymer composition, as a result of which the specified replicated optical surface is formed, separation of the master-matrix from the separating layer from it, removal of the residuals of the separating layer from the replicated optical surface. Before applying the polymer composition on the adhesive coating, filler is added thereto, in form of a powder from a pre-cured and ground polymer composition used in the copying process, in amount of 15–60 % of the volume of the polymer composition. Filler used is powder with particle size of not more than 10 mcm.
EFFECT: use of the method enables to reduce the number of cycles of copying optical surfaces with complex geometry by 1,5–3 times by reducing the degree of linear shrinkage of the polymer composition from 9–10 to 8,5–4 %.
