FIELD: brush articles.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is brush head (32) including neck (40) with brush portion (42), a plurality of bristle beads (21), each comprising a plurality of bristle threads having free end (25) and proximal end (23), wherein proximal end has head portion (26). Brush head comprises multiple retaining rings (50), each of which is configured to enclose proximal end of at least one of plurality of bristle beams. Head comprises elastomeric matrix (30) connected to at least a section of the brush portion of the neck by a plurality of retaining rings and a proximal end of the plurality of bristle bundles. Proximal end of each of the plurality of bristle tufts is configured to comprise gap (27) between the head portion of the proximal end and the corresponding retaining ring.
EFFECT: brush head unit and methods of its manufacturing are disclosed.
