FIELD: cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate (14) has first side (30), opposite second side (32) and hole (26) passing from first side (30) to second side (32), three or at least five cutting heads (20) located on periphery of cutting plate (14), each of which has cutting edge (22) passing across first and second sides (30, 32) and between them. At that, at least three cutting heads (20) have the first cutting head (20'), the second cutting head (20), along the periphery following immediately after the first cutting head (20'), and the third cutting head (20''), along the periphery, the following directly behind second cutting head (20). Cutting plate (14) has, on first side (30), first support surface (36) extending perpendicular to opening axis (28) and at least partially surrounding opening (26), rotational symmetry about opening axis (28) and mirror symmetry relative to median plane extending perpendicular to axis (28) of opening and dividing cutting plate (14) into two equal halves. On the top view when observing along hole axis (28), the imaginary straight connecting line (46) between cutting edge (22) of the first cutting head (20') and cutting edge (22) of the third cutting head (20'') does not intersect either hole (26), nor first support surface (36).
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing of the cutting plate and stability of its fixation in the tool holder.
