FIELD: working metals by cutting, designs of built-up milling cutters with circular cutting tips.

SUBSTANCE: tool includes housing at least with one seat to which circular cutting tip is secured. Said seat includes round recess extending downward from basic wall and having lower wall surrounded by peripheral wall and threaded hole extending downward from lower wall of said recess. Cutting tip has upper surface, lower surface and lateral surface. Cylindrical protrusion passes downward from lower surface of tip and it has lower face embraced by peripheral surface and through opening passing between upper surface and lower surface of tip. Fastening screw passes in said through opening and it engages with threaded hole. Peripheral surface is designed for engaging with peripheral wall and lower surface is designed for engaging with basic wall. Peripheral wall has small-height portion passing in axial direction backwards and along radius inside relative to lengthwise axis.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of mounting cutting tip.
