FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining of parts including removal of chips. Set of holders comprises at least one tool holder, provided with a first target as a first positioning support point, and a part holder provided with a second target as a second positioning support point, wherein the first target and the second target are formed by optical targets and configured to axially align therewith to enable measurement of their relative position and movement. Processing module comprises said set of holders and positioning control device, and during its preparation for production of parts with a selected set of holders, positioning said tool holder in such a way as to align along the axis the first positioning reference point associated with the tool holder and formed by the first optical target, with second positioning reference point associated with part holder and formed by second optical target.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to perform accurate installation, including repeated, of processing tools relative to the part.
