FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of bioorganic chemistry and relates to new substrates for determination of enzymatic activity of peptidases. Disclosed is a peptide substrate of cysteine peptides of the family of papain, which is a compound of general formula (I) A-Xaa-Gln-B, where A is an N-protective group which is Glp, Xaa is an amino acid Phe, B is a marker fluorogenic group which is 7-amido-4-methylkumaride (AMS) or 4-nitroanilide (pNA).
EFFECT: peptide substrate is used to create test systems for detecting peptidases, which is carried out in solution, in gel after electrophoresis in native conditions, in systems in vivo.
