FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electric machine includes housing. Movable and fixed active parts are installed separately in common housing and on common shaft. Points of connection of exciting windings of each fixed active part are located uniformly in circumferential direction relative to shaft axis. Structural units supporting hollow shaft are installed between movable active parts. For reversible and separate cooling of end sides of active parts with liquid and gaseous cooling media, swinging assemblies are made in engine design.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of power and uniformity of distribution of torque on shaft, high reliability and efficiency due to combined and reversible cooling system.
