FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a manual injection safety applicator. Applicator comprises: an applicator body; handle; retractable needle located inside the applicator; a first sensor configured to detect the presence of the handle gripping by the user; a second sensor configured to detect the presence of the animal; and a processing circuit configured to receive a first signal from the first sensor, indicating that the user grasps the handle; receive a second signal from a second sensor, indicating that an animal is detected; pushing the needle from the applicator into the animal when receiving the first and second signals; and deliver the drug dose to the animal when the needle is fully extended into the animal. At that, the processing circuit pushes the needle by actuating the linear actuator with the first specified amount of force. Treatment circuit actuates a linear actuator to deliver a dose of the drug, after the needle is extended, with a second set amount of force which is greater than the first specified amount of force.
EFFECT: invention discloses automatic drug injection to animals.
