FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing ice water in plate evaporators of refrigerating plants and can be used in various industries, where it is necessary to use ice water with temperature of 0.1÷0.5 °C. Control of water pressure at inlet of plate evaporator provides protection against freezing of plate evaporator by short-term hot gas bypass to inlet of evaporator, with simultaneous control of cooling capacity of compressor depending on temperature of ice water at outlet of flow evaporator. Heat-insulated mixing tank is connected by means of the bypass pipeline with the ice water tank of the refrigerating unit.
EFFECT: reliable and safe production of water with maximum temperature close to 0 °C.
