SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to versions of a system of a vehicle camera and a camera housing of a vehicle. Vehicle camera housing guard comprises a case having an inner edge forming an opening and a cover covering the opening. Cover is turned outward from inner edge from closed position to open position. Processor is programmed for cyclic movement of the camera lens between the internal and external positions and the cover between the closed and open positions so that the cover slides several times on the lens for lens cleaning.
EFFECT: reduced contamination of the camera.
