SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vehicle computer system communicating with one or more remote sensors for assistance in parking manoeuvre. System includes a processor. Processor is configured to establish communication with an automated parking system external to the vehicle for assistance in parking manoeuvre. Automated parking system includes sensors to provide measured distance from object to vehicle. At least one sensor comprises chamber. Processor is additionally configured to control the vehicle braking system to stop the vehicle based on the measured distance less than the first predetermined threshold.
EFFECT: higher safety during parking.
