FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, and can be used for treating sublingual cyst of a salivary gland. Membrane and cyst walls are punctured simultaneously in its most convex part in sublingual region. A rubber tube is inserted through the puncture into the cavity of the cyst with an enlarged part inside. Using a clamp, the rubber tube is immersed into the cyst cavity to the stop, after which the tube is cut so that the protruding part is 2-3 mm.
EFFECT: method enables simplifying surgical treatment of sublingual salivary gland cysts and preventing recurrence of the disease by creating decompression with the help of a rubber tube with an enlarged end, which does not require sutures during installation.
