FIELD: ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for assessing color vision. The patient is shown color images. As images, six test colored circles are used, respectively, of the HSL color model: red H 0°, yellow H 60°, green H 120°, blue H 180°, blue H 240°, magenta H 300° and thirty control colored circles. Six of the control colored circles correspond in color tone to the six test circles. Moreover, the color tone of each of the control colored circles differs from the neighboring ones by 12 degrees. The patient is asked to choose from the control circles those that correspond in color to the test circles. According to the coincidence of the test and control circles, the state of color vision is assessed by color tone.
EFFECT: method provides an effective qualitative and quantitative assessment of the state of color vision.
