FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to general surgery, and can be used for intraoperative evaluation of anastomosis tightness in reconstructive operations on oesophagus. Between the stump of the oesophagus and the graft to the region of the formed anastomosis through the oral cavity a double-ball three-channel silicone catheter is performed with a hole between the cylinders so that the first cylinder is located distally to the anastomosis, the second one - more proximally than the anastomosis. Then 20–30 ml of physiologic saline is injected through the ports through the ports for the distal and proximal balloons, under visual control, first filling and blowing the distal balloon, and then the proximal balloon. Then, 1 % aqueous solution of methylene blue dissolved in physiological saline is introduced through the port for introduction of liquid into the catheter canal and supplied through a hole located between the proximal and distal balloons gradually filling the space between them. Detection of a methylene blue solution outside the anastomosis testifies to an inconsistency of the anastomosis.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of assessing the anastomosis tightness in reconstructive operations on the oesophagus by administering a methylene blue solution to the region of the formed anastomosis.
