FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction materials industry, in particular, to production of wood-mineral granular materials. In the method of producing wood-mineral material, a protective coating is obtained by plying, in an adhesive interaction, the surface of particles of crushed wood, initially air-dry fine stone-wastes and a binder – a mixture consisting of liquid glass and fine stone-based wastes, wherein mass fraction of liquid glass in mixture is from 55 to 97 %, and weight fraction of fine stone-wastes is from 45 to 3 %. In the obtained mixture of particles of crushed wood and binder with continuous stirring in rotating pouring vessel is introduced at normal temperature and pressure air dry fine stone waste to obtain a semi-solid coating on the surface of particles of crushed wood. Then the obtained particles massif is moved into the hopper, where they are held until transition of the semi-solid to solid coating material.
EFFECT: technical result is high strength and durability of protective coating, high environmental safety of method of producing wood-mineral material with simultaneous simplification of technology for production thereof, reduced time and energy consumption for method implementation.
