FIELD: production of coated chewing gum.
SUBSTANCE: chewing gum is coated with enclosure consisting of at least one layer. Said layer contains salt of calcium hardly soluble in water, in particular, calcium salt that is soluble in water at temperature of 20°C in an amount less than 1 wt%, and/or composites of calcium salt and protein component. Salt of calcium hardly soluble in water consists of particles sized less than 1,000 nm and being elongated in shape. Method for producing of coated chewing gum involves preparing chewing gum core and single-layer coat formed as enclosure of chewing gum core. Coated chewing gum is used as tooth care means and/or as dental enamel and/or dentine mineralization means.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in mineralization of dental enamel and/or dentine.
