FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, oncology and mammology. Before the operation, the patient's body is marked with the periareolar reduction zone of breast excess skin. Skin in the reduction zone is deepidermised around the areola. Arched approach is performed in an external annular quadrant of the gland along an external border of the reduction zone, from which subcutaneous mastectomy and implant installation are performed. External de-epidermis skin edge is connected with the areola edge by stitches. In the special case of de-epidermisation of skin in the reduction zone for its pre-infiltration, physiologic saline is used.
EFFECT: method provides preserving the nipple and areola accompanying subcutaneous mastectomy with single-step reconstruction of the ptotic mammary gland, enables minimizing the postoperative scars by arranging them only along the border of the dark portion of the areola, thereby achieving a good aesthetic effect.
