SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sampling areas for examination in a gaseous state and vessels specially designed for medical purposes with a device for holding content samples. Method of sampling contaminated air to determine concentration of substances when examining inhalation toxicity, consisting in aspiration through a probe, wherein immediately before aspiration from the total volume of the estimated air mass is isolated sector of a given volume, then aspirated whole infected air from the lower part of the isolated sector.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining concentration of a chemical agent in air at a given moment in time.
