SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to rotary cutting tools and can be used in cutting tools with threaded connecting mechanism. Replaceable cutting head includes front cutting section and rear mounting section. Mounting section comprises male connecting element projecting backward from head base surface. Male connecting element comprises front and rear support sections and outer thread between them. Front and rear thrust sections include conical front and rear abutment surfaces of the head. Front and rear support surfaces of head have identical taper angles. When the cutting tool is in the fixed position, the external thread is engaged by means of screwing in the female connecting element, and front and rear support surfaces of the head are conically adjacent to corresponding surfaces in female connecting element.
EFFECT: reliable retention of cutting head inside tool holder.
