SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to processing of materials by cutting and can be used in drilling operations. Cutting head is made with possibility of rotation around the head axis and has a tip section and a mounting protrusion connected to it. Tip section has cutting sections alternating along the circumference with N grooves of the head. Locating ledge has N engagement sections spaced apart along the circumference, each of which includes a clamping surface facing radially outward and a torque transfer surface. Rotary cutting tool comprises tool shank extending along shank axis and socket for head receiving at its front end. Cutting head is detachably fixed in the socket for receiving the head.
EFFECT: efficient transfer of torque between tool shank and rotary cutting head.
