FIELD: drilling of soil or rocks; mining; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in ore-dressing and metallurgical industry for extraction of valuable minerals and gold from fine-grained sands and crushed ore raw material. Screw separator includes pulp receiver, two screw chutes arranged vertically one above the other, device for supply of flushing water, concentrate cutoff from gangue and adjacent to it device for discharge of gangue. Screw chutes have different diameters. Diameter of upper screw chute is larger than that of bottom chute. Concentrate dissector from the gangue is installed on the platform between the chutes rigidly connected to them. According to another embodiment of the screw separator, a second additional concentrate separator from the industrial product is installed on the area between the chutes.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of separation of source material and high degree of extraction of valuable minerals from disperse ore materials and metal-bearing sands of placers.
