FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to high-strength alloyed antifriction cast irons. It can be used for cast parts of cylinder-and-piston group of engines operating under conditions of friction in gaseous media and not subject to thermal treatment. High-strength alloyed antifriction cast iron contains, wt. %: carbon 3.1–3.6; silicon 2.0–2.5; manganese 0.3–0.7; nickel 0.2–0.6; molybdenum 0.2–0.4; copper 0.6–1.5; chromium 0.02–0.06; magnesium 0.02–0.03; cerium 0.03–0.05; vanadium 0.02–0.05; titanium 0.03–0.22; barium 0.03–0.06; boron 0.002–0.005; zirconium 0.05–0.12; calcium 0.03–0.05 and iron is the rest.
EFFECT: higher corrosion fatigue limit in gas mediums, limit operating mode at friction and reduction of friction coefficient of thermal stresses in casts.
