FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to high-strength antifriction cast irons, and can be used for production of cast parts of cylinder-piston group of engines operating under conditions of friction in gaseous media. Cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 3.1–3.6; silicon 2.0–2.5; manganese 0.3–0.7; nickel 2.0–3.6; molybdenum 1.2–2.5; copper 0.6–1.5; chromium 0.02–0.06; magnesium 0.02–0.03; cerium 0.03–0.05; vanadium 0.52–1.15; titanium 0.03–0.22; barium 0.03–0.06; boron 0.01–0.03; zirconium 0.05–0.12; tin 0.002–0.005, and iron – the rest.
EFFECT: higher corrosion fatigue in gaseous media, limit operating conditions in friction, wear resistance and antifriction properties.
