SUBSTANCE: proposed composition contains the following substances, in wt %: carbon - 3.2-3.5; silicon - 1.8-2.2; manganese - 0.4-0.8; copper - 0.15-0.7; nickel - 0.12-0.5; chromium - 0.08-0.4; magnesium - 0.03-0.05; cerium - 0.01-0.03; tin - 0.01-0.02; phosphorus - 0.02-0.04; calcium - 0.002-0.01; vanadium - 0.05-0.35; barium - 0.03-0.05, iron making the rest. Wear rate at dry friction makes 0.16-0.20 mcm/km.
EFFECT: reduced cracking, higher wear resistance.
