FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to electrical machine building. Radial bearing assembly includes a bushing, divided into segments (2, 3), located in cavity of housing (1) of electric machine stator, and rotor (4) arranged with possibility of rotation in bushing cavity, with possibility of compressed air supply from external source into working gap (14, 15) between surface of bushing cavity and surface of rotor (4). For this purpose, in the volume of segments (2, 3) of the bushing there is a system of interconnected longitudinal (8, 9) and transverse (10, 11) channels communicated with pipes (18, 19) for feeding compressed air from an external source, wherein output openings (12, 13) of the system of interconnected channels are communicated with working gap (14, 15) through radial feed holes (16, 17), passing through segments (2, 3) of the sleeve, wherein segments (2, 3) are spring-loaded to rotor. Bushing segments (2, 3) are made of insulating material in the form of flute-like elongated elements of equal angular length, side edges of which contact with side edges of adjacent segments (2, 3). Outer surface of segments (2, 3) is equipped with parallel longitudinal ribs, between which elastic substrates of elastic material are installed, by which segments (2, 3) are resting on stator teeth surfaces facing them, wherein at least one longitudinal channel of each segment is interconnected by supply tube (18, 19) with nozzle (20, 21) for compressed air supply, installed on outer side of shield (22, 23) of generator.
EFFECT: improving reliability of electric machine due to replacement of gasostatic bearings located along entire length of rotor, segment gasostatic bearings with elastic substrate, thereby forming required radial gap at various operating modes of electric machine, elimination of deflection of inductor (rotor) of electric machine, expansion of rotor stability area due to damping of elastic substrate of segments, provision of electric machine functioning.
