SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous casting. Device for transportation of side sealing plates comprises a pair of devices (16) for preliminary heating of side sealing plates (12) for end surfaces of a pair of cooling rollers (11), pair of devices (13) for attaching and pressing plates (12), base (110), pair of rail guides (111) on base, pair of devices (121) for transportation of plates (12) moving along guides (111). Melt bath (10), cooling rolls, devices for connection and pressing plates (12) and device for preliminary heating of plates (12) are located in positions closer to lower side relative to base. First hole (131) is made in base above section of melt bath. Pair of second holes (133) serving as channels for transfer of plates (12) are made on the base. Pair of third holes (132) serving as channels for transfer of plates (12) are made on the base.
EFFECT: easier operator identification of the safe working area and fast transportation of side sealing plates from the preheating devices to the melt bath section.
