SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for detecting electromagnetic radiation. Summary of the invention is that the electromagnetic radiation detection system comprises casing (20) defining a chamber in which there is a partial vacuum comprising window (201) which is transparent to said electromagnetic radiation, cold finger (202) having side wall (204), closed on one end by end wall (208) located opposite window (201), sensor (207) installed on end wall (208), having flat top surface (206) located opposite window (201), containing detectors sensitive to electromagnetic radiation and cooled by cold finger, wherein said sensor determines optical axis (X), perpendicular to flat upper surface (206) and located at center relative to it, cold screen (212), surrounding sensor (207) substantially in the form of a dome, mounted on cold finger (202), formed by rotation around the optical axis (X) and comprising upper end (210) located between opening (201) and sensor (207), forming circular diaphragm (211) located at center on optical axis (X), and side wall (209) connecting base (205) of cold shield (212) with upper end (210) having inner surface with concavity facing optical axis (X), at least one band-pass filter (402) of electromagnetic radiation, having predetermined transmission coefficient, wherein each filter is movable and is configured to receive a first position in which it is located outside of casing (20) opposite window (201), and a second position in which it is located so as not to filter any electromagnetic radiation received by the system, in said first position, each filter has a cross-section in any secant plane containing the optical axis (X), concave shape facing sensor (207), having a profile with a conical and / or aspherical base, and reflects the focal plane inside casing (20), and processing means (213), which enable to estimate for each sensor of sensor (207) gain and offset value using a first value output by said detector, when each filter is in the second position, and at least one second value issued by said detector, when filter from said at least one filter is in first position.

EFFECT: providing a possibility of integrated into an electromagnetic radiation detection system for performing an active calibration method, which operates without a Peltier module and enables to avoid using a rigid calibration.
