FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for production of highly porous slaked lime includes supply of quick lime, water supply to the hydrator loading zone, quenched quick lime is quenched in the hydrator damping zone and ripened in the hydrator aging zone to produce slaked lime. Supply of quick lime and water supply is performed so that to obtain weight ratio of water / quick lime between 0.8 and 1.3. Method further includes a step for removing steam formed during quenching, which is carried out substantially along the quench zone to form raw high-porosity slaked lime.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain slaked lime with high specific surface area and high volume of pore space, excluding hydration clogging in the process of suppression.
