METHOD OF CREATING AN EXPERIMENTAL MODEL OF POSTOPERATIVE ISCHEMIA OF NEORECTUM Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G09B23/28

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to coloproctology. In laboratory animals weighing 350 g, a circular incision of skin and subcutaneous fat around the anus is performed. Rectal segment is separated directly along the intestinal wall to an external anal sphincter of not less than 35 mm with simultaneous coagulation of all vessels on its surface. It is followed with circular coagulation of the serous membrane of the separated segment of the rectum in two places – in the most proximal accessible place of the separated intestinal segment and in its middle, with disturbed regional and intra-wall blood supply of the rectal distal part. Creation of neoanus by application of interrupted sutures between skin of anus and intestine along the whole intestinal circle. Model of ischemia of neorectum is obtained on the third postoperative day.

EFFECT: method enables reproducing postoperative ischemia of neorectum occurring after radical correction of anorectal malformations with excessive mobilization of rectum.
