FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to paediatric surgery, and can be used partial plasty of external anal sphincter in children in treatment of complications of coloproctological operations, causing insufficiency of external anal sphincter. Method involves a single-stage perineal reconstruction of the anus by performing a surgical intervention. Electric myostimulation is performed to determine the zone of absence of contractions. Retainer sutures are applied on the mucocutaneous junction within the sphincter defect. Anterior rectal wall is mobilized from the perineal soft tissues to the depth of the border of the mid-ampullary and inferior ampullary portions of the rectum. Triangular segmental rectal wall resection is performed. Haemostatic continuous single-row suture is applied through all layers of the intestine. Cicatricial skin of defect area is resected. Performing layer-by-layer closure of soft tissues of perineum with application of separate interrupted sutures on portions of anal sphincter under control of electromyostimulation. Additional U-shaped mucocutaneous suture is applied last on a projection of the repaired external anal sphincter.

EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of the surgical management of external anal sphincter insufficiency by restoring the integrity of the external anal sphincter.
