FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: disc brake mechanism (1) for cargo vehicles comprises: brake disc (4), brake calliper (2), which tightens brake disc (4), and brake mechanism holder (7), brake pad (5) on clamping side and brake pad (6) on reaction side, at least of which brake pad (5) on the clamp side is located in the recess for braking mechanism holder (7) lining, wherein in the brake mechanism support (2) there is a clamping device which has one single pressure rod (8), which through pressure plate (9) during braking has a clamping force (FK) on brake pad (5) on the clamping side, the central plane and/or plane of symmetry (S), associated with direction of forward rotation side (E) of input and associated with direction of reverse rotation side (A) of output, wherein pressure plate (9) impact plane (W) is shifted in the centre (e) in the direction of the outlet side (A) at a distance from the central plane (S) of the disc braking mechanism (1), and/or at least brake pad (5) on clamp side has chamfer (12) on outlet side (A).

EFFECT: disc brake mechanism for a cargo vehicle is disclosed.
