FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to machine building. The brake pad for a disc braking mechanism comprises a base plate and a friction pad attached thereto. The bearing plate has a carrier plate recess extending in a longitudinal direction, which extends at a distance from the longitudinal side bounding edges of the carrier plate. The cross-sectional recesses form is compound with the variable angle of the wall abutment via braking force when clamping the braking mechanism via deformation of the caliper disc brake mechanism. The disc braking mechanism comprises a disc braking mechanism, made in a form of a floating caliper and caliper disc braking mechanism in which the brake pads are located. Between the rear wall of the disc braking mechanism caliper and a brake pad, in the inoperative position, a wider gap is formed compared with the adjacent zone.
EFFECT: invention provides improved operational reliability of the disc braking mechanism.
