SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Method consists in external measurement of back scattered radiation by means of several pairs of irradiating and receiving fibers with different depths of migration of registered photons simultaneously with external freezing; position and speed of ice front motion is estimated from time of stabilization of scattered radiation signal in each pair of fibers. System includes a cryodestructor with a sapphire cold line with extended channels, in which there are fibers connected in pairs to a monochromatic radiation source and a photometric system, distance between fibers in each pair increases with equal increment, on radiating fibers there are fiber attenuators; in a particular embodiment, there is a reservoir containing a stock of liquid nitrogen into which the distal end of the sapphire cold line is immersed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying the method of tracking the position of the ice front during cryodestruction, high spatial sensitivity of measuring depth of the ice front in tissue using scattering spectroscopy, which does not affect objects of cryosurgery and the body as a whole.
