FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves catching exophytic tumor portion with a pair and/or several pairs of cryoapplicators facing each other and interfixable to each other. The tumor is squeezed with the applicators with deformation reaching 1/3 to 2/3 times its initial diameter. It is pulled with the applicators from surrounding healthy tissues. Exophytic tumor portion being large when bringing freezing zones, produced by each pair of applicators, close to 1/3 of distance between the applicators, tumor squeezing degree is to be increased. Applicator-to-tumor contact is retained until freezing zone spreads to healthy tissue zone beyond tumor base perimeter limits. When applying repeated freezing treatments, tumor capture plane is to be changed after every complete spontaneous tumor defrosting.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; no skin injuries; excluded AIDS, hepatitis virus infection; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
