FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for determining the level of contusion impact on a biological object, namely to methods for determining the severity of contusion. Disclosed is a method for determining the severity of contusion, involving calculation of specific impulse for striker, wherein impacts are performed with hammer with fixed weight and diameter of tip on object with different energies, at that for each energy calculation of specific impulse is performed.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain reliable data on the level of exposure at any weight of the striker.
