FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in the following operations: impact is applied with known energy to simulator of the object of protection protected with standard means-armour helmet and similar impacts on simulator protected by the designed means - an armoured helmet. Acceleration-overload and pressure in the liquid in protection object simulator non-rigidly fixed in the space is also registered at each impact. Dependencies - functions of maximum of average values and acceleration-overload and intracavitary pressure in liquid for specified time intervals are calculated and constructed. The resulting curves or broken lines are used for comparison.
EFFECT: real conditions for obtaining trauma are provided and an objective assessment of impact degree on the object is made when the impact elements are struck and the shock explosion wave acts mechanically.
