FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular to a connecting adapter system and an infusion pump system. System comprises a cap for connection to a reservoir to form a reservoir/cap assembly for installation in an infusion pump. System includes a magnetically detectable element placed on the cap for detection by a sensor on an infusion pump device, when the tank reservoir/cap assembly is installed in the reservoir receiver of the infusion pump device. Magnetically detectable element has magnetic field angle of magnet attached to cap housing. Magnetic field angle is the orientation angle of the magnetic field of the magnet relative to the specified axis of the cap or the reservoir/cap assembly. Angle of magnetic field is not parallel and perpendicular to preset axis. Magnetic field angle of the magnetically detectable element is a detectable parameter related to characteristics of the cap, reservoir, cannula or tube connected between the cap and the cannula. Characteristics of cap, reservoir, cannula or tube connected between cap and cannula contain type or identification data of manufacturer of cap, reservoir, cannula or tube or size of cap, reservoir, cannula or tube. Infusion pump system comprises an infusion pump device having a reservoir receiver for installing a reservoir containing an infusion medium, and for selectively dispensing the infusion medium from the reservoir when the reservoir is mounted inside the receptacle of the reservoir. Infusion pump system includes a reservoir for containing an infusion medium. Infusion pump system has a sensor held by the infusion pump device and a connecting adapter system.
EFFECT: technical result is improved configurations of methods of connecting to facilitate infusion procedures and providing suitable adapter connections, which provide additional features for simplicity and ease of use and production.
