FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of regenerating acrylic resin used in water purification. Method involves providing a set of particles of acrylic resin, bringing said set of particles of acrylic resin into contact with an aqueous solution having a pH value of 4 or lower, and separating the acrylic resin from the obtained mixture. Herewith, the calculated Hansch parameter of the set of particles of acrylic resin is equal to −0.2 to 0.5, and one or more humic acid, one or more fulvic acid or their mixture is adsorbed on said acrylic resin.
EFFECT: efficient regeneration of acrylic resin.
