FIELD: hand tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand tool and method of making such hand tool. Tool comprises working element (1) made of first material, elongated handle (2) made of second material, and connecting element (3) made of third material containing plastic. Elongated handle additionally comprises gripping part (4) on first end (2-1) and insert part (5) at second end (2-2). In addition, the hand tool comprises sealing ring (6) surrounding insert part (5) to prevent the third material from flowing in the process of manufacture. Method includes arrangement of sealing ring (6) around insert part (5), arrangement of insert part (5) and working element (1) in form, introduction of material containing plastic, into cavity (9) so as to form connecting element (3), and removal of hand tool from mold.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of attachment of working element of tool to handle.
