FIELD: furniture production.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is ironing board (1) comprising an ironing board post (2) and ironing surface (3) attached to the ironing board post (2), and iron support (4), which is connected to ironing surface (3) with possibility of movement relative to ironing surface (3), wherein iron support (4) is made with possibility of distance from ironing surface (3) with formation of space (5) between support (4) for iron and ironing surface (3). Iron support (4) is connected to ironing surface (3) by means of at least one retaining element (6) made in the form of a U-shaped bracket, wherein the bracket portion connecting the two legs serves as a support surface such that retainer (6) forms the post member during storage of the folded ironing board (1).
EFFECT: proposed is an ironing board.
