FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to peripheral nerve conduction analgesia methods and can be used in the postoperative period for the purpose of nerve block in case of pain syndrome relief in the anterior-medial parts of the knee joint by means of ultrasound navigation. Using the linear high-density ultrasonic sensor installed in the lower thirds of the thigh above the hip condyles in the transverse plane relative to the lower extremity, the muscular chute formed from the lateral side – by the medial edge of the musculus vastus medialis, from the medial side with a sartorius muscle, then the sensor is shifted in the distal and proximal directions until the image of the fascia-shaped case appears on the monitor screen, the upper border of which is the superficial hip fascia, and the lower border of the muscular fascia and front parts of the musculus vastus medialis and sartorius muscle, after which the subcutaneous nerve is verified in the fascial case of rounded hyperechoic inclusion, the image of which in the case on the monitor resembles the image of the outline of the eye with the pupil inside, thereafter needle is pricked in sensor plane and, moving it in front-medial direction within subcutaneous fat, penetration of needle tip into fascial case with verified nerve in it, anesthetic is then extraperineurally injected. Anesthesia can be administered in the form of solution of 0.5 % ropivocaine – 3 ml and dexamethasone 2 ml.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the number of complications accompanying the procedure of anesthesia ensured by using the proposed method of ultrasonic navigation.
