SUBSTANCE: method for rehabilitation of patients with chronic cerebral ischemia refers to medicine, namely physiotherapy and restorative medicine, and is used for medical rehabilitation of patients with chronic cerebral ischemia. Method includes climatotherapy, therapeutic exercises, a terrain cure in the open air and breathing exercises. It differs by the fact that simultaneously with therapeutic gymnastics, New Breath exercise breathing simulator is applied additionally for motor development, coordination and statics. Ultimate allowable heart rate increase is 25 beats/min. Duration of procedure is 20 minutes, daily, for therapeutic course of 12–14 procedures. Method allows achieving high efficiency of medical rehabilitation of the patients with chronic cerebral ischemia by including therapeutic respiratory gymnastics during the movement with a New Breath simulator of respiratory muscles into the therapeutic complex. It provides recovery of respiratory function, increased pulmonary ventilation, increased blood oxygenation, normalization of gas exchange and elimination of disturbed cardiovascular system, including cerebral circulation.
